DESCRIPTION

SCD105K122A3-22 is a Type SCD IGBT snubber capacitor module designed to protect against voltage transients in low to medium current IGBT applications where high dV/dt is encountered. The module features a capacitance of 1.0 µF with a rated voltage of 1200 Vdc, ±10% tolerance, and is optimized for direct mounting to IGBT modules. It delivers a peak current of 500 A, dV/dt capability of 500 V/µs, and an RMS current rating of 18.5 Arms at 100 kHz, with an ESR of 5 mO. The capacitor utilizes low-loss polypropylene dielectric with self-healing properties and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 85°C, providing 60,000 hours of life expectancy at rated voltage and 70°C. This module is ideal for IGBT snubber applications requiring high peak and RMS current capability with low inductance and minimal losses.
