DESCRIPTION

PSU7230B is a non-polarized, aluminum electrolytic AC motor start capacitor designed for reliable motor starting applications. It features a capacitance range of 72–86 µF with a rated voltage of 330 Vac, operating across a frequency range of 50–60 Hz. The capacitor is housed in a rugged bakelite case with dual quick-connect terminals and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to 65°C. With a case code 5 design, it measures 1 13/16 inches in diameter and 4 3/8 inches in length, providing a compact form factor suitable for motor mounting applications. The PSU7230B meets EIA RS-463 Type 2 specifications and is UL-listed (file no. E128034), making it ideal for HVAC systems, compressors, and other AC motor applications requiring dependable starting performance.
