DESCRIPTION

PSU27030 is a Type PSU non-polarized, aluminum electrolytic AC motor start capacitor designed for reliable motor starting applications. This compact capacitor features a rugged bakelite case with dual quick-connect terminals and is rated for 330 Vac operation with a capacitance range of 270–324 µF. The device operates across a frequency range of 50–60 Hz and maintains performance over an operating temperature range of -40°C to 65°C, with a maximum power factor of 10%. PSU27030 is housed in Case Code 8 with a diameter of 2 9/16 inches and length of 4 3/8 inches, and meets EIA RS-463 Type 2 (Normal Performance) standards. Optional enhancements include bleeder resistors and mounting brackets, making it suitable for both direct motor mounting and off-motor installations in HVAC systems, compressors, and other single-phase motor applications.
