DESCRIPTION
MLS491M200EA0C is a 125°C FlatpackTM aluminum electrolytic capacitor manufactured by Cornell Dubilier, featuring a 400 µF capacitance with a 200 Vdc rated voltage and 2.0-inch case length (EA). The capacitor is encased in rugged stainless steel with a near-hermetic welded seal, delivering 100 years of expected operating life and withstanding altitudes exceeding 80,000 feet. It exhibits an ESR of 285 mO at 25°C and 172 mO at 85°C, with a ripple current capability of 6.0 A at 120 Hz and 7.7 A at 20 kHz when operating at 85°C. The device features 18 AWG copper wire terminals with 60/40 tin-lead electroplate rated for 20 amps maximum, and is available with optional high-vibration (HV) and high-reliability (HR) configurations. This capacitor is ideal for high-reliability military systems, aerospace applications, and industrial equipment operating above 85°C where extended operational life and superior reliability are critical requirements.
