DESCRIPTION

MLP212M080EA0A is an 85°C ultra long life aluminum electrolytic capacitor in a low-profile flatpack design, rated at 2100 µF and 80 Vdc with 100 Vdc surge capability. It features a maximum ESR of 72 mO at 120 Hz and 52 mO at 25°C, with a ripple current rating of 4.9 A at 85°C case temperature and 20 kHz. The capacitor utilizes an EA case code with a 2.0-inch length, 0.50-inch maximum height, and weighs approximately 42 g. With its nearly hermetic welded seal, it offers up to 50-year life at +45°C and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. Common applications include voltage holdup or filtering in military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards where high-energy storage in a compact form factor is required.
