DESCRIPTION

MC18FA471J-F is a multilayer mica RF capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications requiring excellent RF performance and reliability. This 470 pF capacitor operates at 100 Vdc with a 1812 case size (4.5 mm × 3.2 mm × 2.0 mm maximum height), providing a compact form factor suitable for modern RF circuits. The device features extremely high Q at UHF/VHF frequencies, low ESR construction, and maintains performance across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a capacitance tolerance of ±5%. The natural mica dielectric ensures freedom from thermal cracking and FR4 board compatibility, while the wave-solderable construction and high RF current capability (dV/dt 20,000 V/µs) make it ideal for MRI coils, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and CATV applications where superior high-frequency performance and ruggedness are essential.
