DESCRIPTION

MC12FD470J-F is a Type MC multilayer RF mica chip capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications requiring excellent RF performance. This 47 pF capacitor is rated for 500 Vdc operation in a 1210 case package (3.2 mm length × 2.5 mm width × 2.0 mm maximum height), featuring a natural mica dielectric that maintains extremely high Q at UHF/VHF frequencies. The capacitor exhibits low ESR, high RF current capability with dV/dt of 20,000 V/µs, and is free from thermal cracking while remaining compatible with FR4 boards. It is wave solderable and exceeds 2 mm bend test requirements, making it ideal for MRI coils, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and mobile radio applications where rugged reliability and superior RF characteristics are essential.
