DESCRIPTION

DME6P47K-F is a Type DME metallized polyester film capacitor with radial leads designed for DC applications in miniature form factor. This capacitor features a capacitance of 0.47 µF with ±10% tolerance and is rated for 630 Vdc operation, delivering high performance in a compact size comparable to capacitors physically twice as large. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C (with 50% Vdc derating above 85°C) and exhibits a dissipation factor of 1% maximum at 25°C and 1 kHz. With self-healing properties that mitigate shorts caused by overvoltage transients, dielectric strength of 150% (1 minute), and an insulation resistance of 3,000 MO × µF minimum, this capacitor is well-suited for compact DC applications requiring reliable performance and small footprint.
