DESCRIPTION

DME4S39K-F is a Type DME metallized polyester film capacitor with radial leads designed for DC applications in miniature form factor. This capacitor features a capacitance of 0.039 µF with ±10% tolerance and is rated for 400 Vdc operation, delivering performance comparable to larger capacitors while maintaining a compact size. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C (with 50% Vdc derating above 85°C) and incorporates self-healing properties to protect against overvoltage transients. With a dissipation factor of 1% maximum at 25°C and 1 kHz, and an insulation resistance of 3,000 MO × µF minimum, this capacitor is well-suited for small-size, cost-effective DC circuit applications including filtering, coupling, and energy storage in compact electronic equipment.
