DESCRIPTION

CDV16FF561JO3F is a Type CDV16 mica capacitor engineered for snubber and RF applications requiring high pulse current capability and fast voltage transient handling. This capacitor features a dV/dt capability of 275,000 V/µs, enabling it to withstand unlimited pulses without degradation, and delivers peak current handling up to 825 amps with controlled, resonance-free performance through 1 GHz. The device is optimized for high-frequency applications including RF and CATV systems, offering superior performance compared to earlier CDV19 designs while maintaining a more compact form factor. With its ability to handle high continuous RMS current at frequencies up to 30 MHz and a cost advantage of approximately 1/4 that of comparable porcelain ceramic capacitors, the CDV16FF561JO3F is ideal for pulse applications, snubber circuits, and broadband RF systems where reliability and performance are critical.
