DESCRIPTION

The 942C20S1K-F is a Type 942 round, axial polypropylene film capacitor specifically designed for high pulse and snubber circuits. It provides a capacitance of 0.01 µF with a voltage rating of 2000 Vdc or 500 Vac. Key electrical characteristics include a very high dV/dt of 5137 V/µs, a peak current rating of 51 A, and a typical ESR of 50 mΩ at 100 kHz. This component utilizes a self-healing hybrid construction of polypropylene film and metal foils to achieve superior RMS current ratings.
