DESCRIPTION

940C16P1K-F is a polypropylene film capacitor designed for pulse and snubber applications requiring high dV/dt performance. This round, axial leaded capacitor features a capacitance of 0.10 µF with ±10% tolerance and a rated voltage of 1600 Vdc (500 Vac). It offers low ESR of 1.0 mO at 100 kHz, ESL of 7 nH, and a high dV/dt rating of 1427 V/µs with peak current capability of 143 A. The capacitor has dimensions of 18.0 mm diameter and 34.0 mm length, with an operating temperature range of -55 °C to 105 °C. Ideal for snubber circuits, power electronics, and high-frequency applications where self-healing properties and high pulse current handling are essential.
