DESCRIPTION
500C122T250BA2B is a Type 550C ultra-ripple, long-life aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-ripple, inverter-grade applications. This 1200 µF capacitor is rated for 250 VDC (300 VDC surge) with a capacitance tolerance of -10% +50% and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The capacitor features an ESR maximum of 126.4 mO at 25°C, with ripple current capability of 7.0 A at 85°C and 2.5 A at 105°C (120 Hz). It is housed in a 2.12" × 3.5/8" case with screw terminal connections and is designed for motor drive and other demanding high-ripple applications, offering more than 25% extra ripple capability per can size and expected operating life exceeding 100,000 hours in typical applications.
