DESCRIPTION

The 101C184U063DG2DP is a 180,000 µF aluminum electrolytic capacitor rated for 63 VDC (85 VDC surge) designed for high-ripple current military and industrial applications. This Type 101C capacitor features exceptionally low ESR of 6.1 mO maximum at 25°C and a maximum ripple current of 68.2 A at 85°C, making it ideal for power supply output filtering and high-current applications. The capacitor operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with greater than 90% capacitance retention at -40°C, and employs Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction to ensure optimal heat dissipation in all mounting orientations. With a nominal case size of 3.0 inches diameter by 8.625 inches length and a 5,000 hour load life rating, this capacitor excels in demanding aerospace, military, and industrial power conversion systems where full performance to -40°C and solid performance to -55°C are required.
