DESCRIPTION

The SMCV6150 is a solid-state reduced voltage starter designed for the soft starting and stopping of three-phase induction motors. It operates on a mains voltage range of 200 to 480VAC at 40 to 65Hz and is controlled by a 10 to 24VDC input. The device can handle motor power up to 15kW in a 400VAC star configuration and up to 26kW in a delta configuration, with an AC53a nominal current of 22.5A. Key features include adjustable voltage ramp duration up to 64 seconds, adjustable initial torque, and a soft-stop capability. This softstarter is ideal for applications like pumps, fans, and conveyors where a full variable speed controller is not required, helping to reduce mechanical stress and electrical inrush current.
