RSBT2216EV51 is a three-phase controlled soft starter designed for scroll compressors up to 16 Arms rated operational current at 220 VAC. It features a patented auto-adaptive algorithm that automatically adapts to the specific compressor being controlled, ensuring optimum inrush current reduction without requiring user settings. The unit includes integrated bypass relays for reduced heat dissipation, over-temperature, overcurrent, and locked rotor protection, with a ramp-up time of less than 600 ms. Operating within a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C and featuring IP20 protection, this DIN rail mountable soft starter is CE and cULus approved. Common applications include HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment where reliable soft starting of scroll compressors is required.
