DESCRIPTION

VALAS004-6ZZ00-000 is a Contura-series sealed rocker switch designed for harsh marine and transportation environments. This single-pole switch features an 8-terminal base with barriers and is rated for 0.4VA at 28VDC resistive load, with an IP66/68 sealing rating that provides protection against dust and water ingress. The switch has passed rigorous environmental testing including MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490, making it one of the most rugged and reliable switches available. It is commonly used in on/off-highway vehicles, marine applications, armored vehicles, mining machinery, and any application requiring robust sealing protection and corrosion resistance.
