V8DAS00B-CZC00-000 is a V-Series Contura II sealed snap-in rocker switch designed for demanding industrial and marine applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 certification for complete protection against dust and prolonged spray and submersion under pressure, with UL1500 recognition for marine ignition protection. Electrical specifications include a contact rating of 4VA at 24VDC (maximum) with resistive ratings up to 15 amps at 125VAC and 10 amps at 250VAC, dielectric strength of 1500 Volts RMS, and insulation resistance of 50 Megohms. The switch is constructed with silver alloy contacts, offers 50,000 to 100,000 cycles of electrical life and 150,000 cycles minimum mechanical endurance, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Its polyester blend base is rated to 125°C with UL 94V0 flammability rating, and the switch is resistant to vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture, and salt spray.
