CA3-B0-34-475-16C-E is a three-pole C-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker designed for applications requiring higher amperage and voltage handling capability in a compact package. The breaker features a 475-amp current rating with a unique arc chute design enabling interrupting capacities up to 10,000 amps, and is UL Recognized and CSA Accepted for operation up to 480VAC or 150VDC. It incorporates thermoset glass-filled polyester half-shell construction for increased mechanical and electrical strength, wiping contacts with mechanical linkage providing high positive contact pressure, and a rocker-style actuator with optional mid-trip handle for visual indication of electrical overload. The unit is available with multiple terminal options including stud and screw configurations, making it suitable for industrial control panels, motor protection, and branch circuit protection applications where reliable overload and short-circuit protection is essential.
