DESCRIPTION

The 6FC58-78 is a single pole toggle switch from Carling Technologies' F-Series, designed for general-purpose applications with an On-Off-(On) circuit configuration and sealed bat-style actuator. It is rated for 10A 250VAC, 15A 125VAC, and 3/4 HP 125-250VAC operation, with screw terminal connections suitable for low voltage 12/24V DC applications. The switch features a dielectric strength of 1000V between live and dead metal parts, an electrical life of 50,000 cycles for maintained operation and 25,000 cycles for momentary operation, and a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles. Operating temperature range is 0°F to 150°F (-17.8°C to +65.6°C), with a sealed toggle length of 0.687 inches and bushing length of 0.465 inches. This versatile switch is commonly used in marine, food service, generator, industrial control, and office automation applications where reliable switching and durability are essential.
