DESCRIPTION
The MPI005P28LSRD12 is a 19mm stainless steel illuminated vandal-resistant push button switch designed for demanding industrial and public-access applications. It features S.P.C.O (Single Pole Change-Over) switching with both momentary and latching action options, a 22mm bezel diameter, and a 19.2mm ± 0.2mm fixing hole diameter for secure panel mounting. The switch supports plug terminal or screw terminal configurations with 2.8mm illuminated terminals, and is rated for 5A @ 12VDC or 24VDC, 5A @ 125VAC, and 3A @ 250VAC with an IP65 sealing rating. Key technical characteristics include a contact resistance of 50mO maximum at 1A/2V, insulation resistance exceeding 1000MO @ 500Vdc, dielectric strength greater than 2.0kVac, and mechanical durability of 1,000,000 minimum operations with 50,000 minimum electrical operations. The switch operates reliably across a temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and features stainless steel and aluminium alloy construction with silver contacts and gold-plated brass terminations. This robust design makes it ideal for security systems, access control panels, emergency stop stations, and other applications requiring high reliability and vandal resistance.
