DESCRIPTION

The C1353VQNAM is a high-inrush rocker switch from the 1350 series designed for demanding switching applications requiring positive break contact separation. It features double-pole configuration with 3-position switching circuits, push-on/solder/PCB terminal options, and splash-resistant construction with a softline rocker body. The switch is rated for 16A at 250Vac (T85 rating with 10,000 operations), 150A inrush current to EN61058-1, and 20A at 24Vdc, with UL and CSA approvals. The 1350 series mechanism ensures contact welds formed at switch-on are positively separated by a plunger tube acting directly on the moving contact step, providing reliable performance in industrial control, power distribution, and equipment protection applications where high inrush current handling is critical.
