DESCRIPTION
The M7-66-427 is a Brady B-427 thermal transfer printable translucent vinyl tape designed for wire and cable identification applications. The tape features a self-laminated format with a white printable zone and translucent overlaminating area, utilizing permanent acrylic adhesive and offering excellent clarity, conformability, and self-extinguishing properties. It demonstrates outstanding water and oil resistance, with a total thickness of 0.0040 inch (0.102 mm) and tensile strength of 12 lbs/in (machine direction) and 11 lbs/in (cross direction) with elongation of 152% and 195% respectively. The material maintains functionality across a wide temperature range from -94°F (-70°C) to 158°F (70°C) with no visible effect, and resists humidity, UV light, and weathering. It is UL Recognized to UL969A Labeling and Marking Standard and UL2238 Cable Assemblies standards when printed with Brady Series R4300 and R7950 ribbons, making it ideal for industrial wire labeling, cable identification, and harsh environment applications requiring chemical and environmental resistance.
