DESCRIPTION

170755 is a thermal transfer printable translucent vinyl tape designed for wire and cable identification applications. This B-427 material features a self-laminated format with a white printable zone and translucent overlaminating area, with a total thickness of 0.0040 inch (0.102mm) and permanent acrylic adhesive. The tape offers excellent performance characteristics including high service temperature tolerance up to 158°F (70°C), low service temperature tolerance down to -94°F (-70°C), and outstanding humidity, UV light, and weatherability resistance. It provides strong adhesion to stainless steel (49 oz/in after 24-hour dwell) and polypropylene (33 oz/in after 24-hour dwell), with tensile strength of 12 lbs/in (210 N/100 mm) in machine direction. The material is self-extinguishing with average burn time less than 10 seconds and is UL Recognized to UL969A and UL2238 standards, making it ideal for industrial wire marking and cable assembly applications.
