DESCRIPTION

TISP4C290H3BJR-S is a low capacitance bidirectional thyristor overvoltage protector designed for telecom and data line protection applications. It features an ion-implanted breakdown region providing precise and stable voltage characteristics with low voltage overshoot under surge conditions. The device offers a repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) of ±220V and a breakover voltage (V(BO)) of ±290V, with low off-state capacitance of 40pF typical. It is rated for international surge wave shapes including GR-1089-CORE, TIA-968-A, and ITU-T K.20/21/45 standards with peak impulse currents up to 500A. The SMB package and RoHS compliance make it suitable for modern circuit protection designs in telecommunications equipment.
