DESCRIPTION

SRU1028-6R8Y is a shielded surface-mount power inductor designed for DC/DC converter input/output filtering and power supply applications. It features a 6.8 µH inductance at 100 kHz with ±30% tolerance, a maximum RMS current rating of 3.5 A, and a saturation current of 3.0 A typical. The inductor incorporates a ferrite DR and RI core with enameled copper wire and silver/nickel/tin terminals, housed in a compact 10.0 mm × 2.8 mm package with a unit height of 2.8 mm. With a self-resonant frequency of 30.0 MHz minimum and DC resistance of 15 mO, it delivers reliable performance across a storage temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. This component is ideal for portable communication equipment, camcorders, LCD TVs, and other applications requiring efficient power management in space-constrained designs.
