DESCRIPTION

The SRU1028-470Y is a shielded SMD power inductor from Bourns' SRU1028 series designed for DC/DC converter input/output filtering and power supply applications. It features a 47 µH inductance at 100 kHz with ±30% tolerance, a maximum RMS current rating of 1.3 A, and a saturation current of 1.1 A typical. The inductor incorporates a ferrite DR and RI core with enameled copper wire and silver/nickel/tin terminals, operating reliably across a storage temperature range of -40°C to +125°C with a maximum temperature rise of 40°C at rated current. With a unit height of 2.8 mm, self-resonant frequency of 11 MHz, and DC resistance of 167 mO, this component is ideal for portable communication equipment, camcorders, and LCD TV power supplies where compact, high-performance filtering is required.
