DESCRIPTION

The SRP7028A-6R8M is a shielded power inductor from Bourns' SRP7028A Series, designed for high-performance power conversion and filtering applications. It features a 6.8 µH inductance at 100 kHz with ±20% tolerance, a carbonyl powder core for high saturation current capability, and a self-resonant frequency of 18 MHz. The inductor exhibits a DC resistance of 54 mO (typical) with a maximum of 60 mO, supports an RMS current of 4.5 A, and achieves saturation at 8 A. The shielded construction minimizes electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, and other noise-sensitive power management circuits where compact size and reliable performance are essential.
