DESCRIPTION

SMBJ14A-Q is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection applications in compact SMB (DO-214AA) package format. It features a working peak reverse voltage (VRWM) of 13V with a breakdown voltage range of 14.5V to 15.9V, providing fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to breakdown voltage. The device is rated for 600W peak power dissipation and includes a maximum clamping voltage of 28.0V at 10A, with a maximum peak clamping pulse voltage of 140V at 140A. SMBJ14A-Q is RoHS compliant and AEC-Q101 automotive grade qualified, making it suitable for protection of power buses, I/O interfaces, and overvoltage transient protection in telecom, computer, industrial, consumer electronics, and automotive applications.
