DESCRIPTION

SMAJ22A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 20 V, breakdown voltage range of 22.2 to 24.5 V, and a peak pulse power dissipation of 400 watts at 1 ms pulse width. The device is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with RoHS compliance and UL recognition (File Number E153537). It provides fast response times and is rated for IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 Surge protection standards. The SMAJ22A is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from transient voltage events while maintaining a low profile suitable for modern compact device designs.
