DESCRIPTION

SDR0604-2R2ML is an SMD power inductor from the SDR0604 series featuring a 2.2 µH inductance at 100 kHz with ±20% tolerance. The inductor utilizes a ferrite DR core with enameled copper wire and Ag/Ni/Sn terminals, delivering a quality factor (Q) of 33 at 7.96 MHz and a self-resonant frequency (SRF) minimum of 79 MHz. It is rated for 2.8 A RMS current with a typical saturation current of 5.1 A and a maximum DC resistance of 0.06 O, with temperature rise limited to 40°C maximum at rated current. The compact design features a maximum diameter of 5.8 mm and profile height of 4.8 mm, making it ideal for space-constrained applications. This RoHS-compliant component is commonly used in input/output filtering of DC/DC converters and power supplies for portable communications equipment, camcorders, and LCD TVs.
