DESCRIPTION

The PWR163S-25-1R00FE is a DPAK style surface-mount power resistor designed for high-power applications. This thick film resistor provides a resistance of 1.0 Ω with a tight tolerance of ±1% and a power rating of 25 W at a 25 °C case temperature. Key features include a very low inductance of 0.1 µH maximum, a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C, and electrical isolation from the backplate. The device is AEC-Q200 compliant and operates over a temperature range of -55 °C to 155 °C. Its low inductance and excellent pulse characteristics make it ideal for high-frequency applications like amplifiers for wireless base stations, as well as in current limiting or capacitor discharge circuits.
