DESCRIPTION

The P6SMB33CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection applications in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a breakdown voltage range of 31.7 to 34.7 volts with a peak pulse power dissipation of 600 watts at 1 ms pulse width, housed in a compact SMB (DO-214AA) surface mount package. The device exhibits fast response times of less than 5.0 picoseconds from 0V to minimum breakdown voltage and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. With RoHS compliance and halogen-free construction, the P6SMB33CA is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics against transient overvoltage events per IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards.
