DESCRIPTION

MF-R050-2-17 is a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection in low-voltage electronic circuits. It features a maximum voltage rating of 60 V and a maximum current rating of 40 A, with a hold current of 0.50 A at 23°C and a trip current range of 1.00 A maximum. The device exhibits an initial post-trip resistance of 0.41 to 0.77 Ohms at 23°C, with a 1-hour resistance of 1.17 Ohms, and a maximum time to trip of 2.5 seconds at specified conditions. The MF-R050-2-17 features radial leaded construction with straight leads, cured flame-retardant epoxy polymer insulation meeting UL 94V-0 requirements, and is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. It is AEC-Q200 compliant for automotive applications and carries cUL and TÜV agency recognition. This device is ideal for protecting computers, peripherals, and general electronics where automatic reset capability after fault clearance is required.
