DESCRIPTION

MF-MSMF125-2 is a PTC resettable fuse from Bourns' MF-MSMF series designed for surface-mount overcurrent protection in automotive and industrial applications. This device features a hold current of 1.25 A at 23°C and a trip current of 2.50 A, with a maximum voltage rating of 6.0 V and maximum current capacity of 100 A. The fuse exhibits a resistance range of 0.05 to 0.14 ohms and provides a maximum time-to-trip of 0.40 seconds at 23°C, with typical tripped power dissipation of 0.8 W. The component is packaged in a standard 4532 mm (1812 mils) footprint compatible with automated assembly and Pb-free solder reflow profiles, and is fully compliant with AEC-Q200 Rev-C automotive qualification standards and RoHS directives. Applications include circuit protection in automotive electronics, industrial control systems, and consumer electronics where automatic reset capability and compact form factor are advantageous.
