DESCRIPTION
GDT216E-80-T2-BX is a high energy gas discharge tube arrestor designed for surge protection in power systems and industrial equipment. This 2-electrode device features an 800V DC breakdown voltage with ±20% tolerance, a maximum impulse breakdown voltage of 1500V (1.2/50 µs), and a maximum impulse discharge current of 40 kA on an 8/20 µs waveform. The GDT operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and offers fast response time with breakdown time less than 100 ns. With its 16 mm diameter, two-side terminal configuration, and UL recognition (1449-4), this RoHS compliant device provides reliable surge protection for high density and space-restricted applications including surge protective devices (SPDs) and industrial equipment.
