DESCRIPTION

CVQ550K14BL1 is a 14 mm disc-shaped varistor from the CVQ series designed for transient surge suppression in telecommunication and AC power networks. It features a maximum continuous AC operating voltage of 550 Vrms and 745 Vdc, with a varistor voltage of 910 V at 1 mA and a clamping voltage of 1500 V at 50 A. The device offers high energy handling capability with a maximum energy rating of 300 J (10/100 µs waveform) and a peak surge current of 6000 A (8/20 µs). With a disc diameter of 16.5 mm maximum and thickness of 8.8 mm maximum, this RoHS compliant varistor provides reliable protection against voltage transients in industrial and commercial applications.
