DESCRIPTION

CMF-RD50-0 is a dual-channel resettable PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) fuse housed in a ceramic package, designed for secondary overcurrent protection in telecommunications equipment. The device features two resistance-matched PTCs with a rated resistance of 50 Ohms and ±20% tolerance, operating at a rated voltage of 230 VAC with an induction voltage withstand rating of 600 VAC. Key electrical characteristics include a hold current of ±0.5 Ohms, trip current of 0.19 Amps at 25°C, and a maximum current (Imax) of 3.0 Amps at 230 VAC with a trip time of less than 0.1 seconds. The device is RoHS compliant and meets ITU-T K.20/21/45, Telcordia GR-1089-CORE, and UL 60950 3rd Edition standards, making it suitable for use in Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Central Office (CO), and access equipment applications.
