DESCRIPTION

CG0603MLC-12LE is an ESD protector from the ChipGuard MLC Series designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge damage. The device is rated for a typical continuous operating voltage of 12V and features a maximum capacitance of 0.5 pF at 1 VRMS 1 MHz, with maximum leakage current specifications, making it nearly transparent under normal operating conditions. It provides IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection (±8 kV contact discharge / ±15 kV air discharge) with a maximum response time of 1 ns and is housed in a 0603 package with dimensions of 1.60 ± 0.20 mm length and 0.80 ± 0.20 mm width. The device is RoHS compliant and suitable for high-speed applications including USB 3.0/USB OTG, HDMI 1.4, DVI, memory protection, SIM card ports, and automotive applications.
