DESCRIPTION

The 7914S-1-000 is a right-angle surface-mount sealed pushbutton switch designed for applications requiring robust, sealed switching functionality. It features a normally-open (N.O.) contact configuration with gold-plated copper alloy terminals, stainless steel cover and dome, and high-temperature silicon rubber actuator material. The switch is rated for a maximum current of 100 mA at 16 V, with contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 100 megaohms minimum. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, withstands vibration of 20 G and shock of 100 G, and is sealed to IP 67 standard with a seal test at 85°C using Fluorinert. The switch offers an actuator force of 300 ± 100 g, pushover strength of 0.9 kilograms minimum, and cycle life of 500,000 actuations under load. This sealed design makes it ideal for harsh environments, industrial control panels, and applications requiring board washing compatibility and RoHS compliance.
