DESCRIPTION

The 2051-40-SM-RPLF is a micro surface mount, 2-electrode gas discharge tube (GDT) surge protection device designed to meet board-level protection requirements with reduced space requirements. This device features a DC sparkover voltage of 400 V ±25% at 100 V/s, with impulse sparkover ratings of <750 V at 100 V/µs and <900 V at 1000 V/µs, making it suitable for high-speed and high-bandwidth applications. The compact dimensions of 2.7 × 3.2 × 4.5 mm combined with low capacitance (<1 pF at 1 MHz) and high insulation resistance (>1 GO) ensure minimal signal distortion and reliable performance over the operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The device is ideal for telecommunications, datacom, modems, and splitter applications where surge protection and signal integrity are critical.
