DESCRIPTION

The 9540-CHR-U500 is a multi-conductor computer cable specifically designed for EIA RS-232 applications. It consists of ten 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors insulated with semi-rigid PVC. For signal integrity, the cable incorporates an overall Beldfoil® shield providing 100% coverage and a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire, all encased in a chrome PVC jacket. This CMG-rated cable is supplied in a 500 ft UnReel put-up and is ideal for reliable data transmission in RS-232 systems.
