DESCRIPTION

9503-CHR-U500 is an EIA RS-232 computer cable designed for data communication applications. It features 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors arranged in 3 twisted pairs with semi-rigid PVC insulation, providing a nominal characteristic impedance of 75 Ohm. The cable includes an overall Beldfoil aluminum/polyester shield with 100% coverage and a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire for effective EMI protection. With a PVC outer jacket measuring 0.232 in nominal diameter, the cable is rated for 300 V RMS and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. This cable is ideal for RS-232 serial communication, computer interfacing, and data transmission applications requiring reliable shielded twisted pair connectivity.
