DESCRIPTION

The 8670-50 is a flexible, uninsulated braided conductor intended for electrical shielding and bonding. Constructed from 480 strands of 30 AWG tinned copper, it has an equivalent size of 3.4 AWG and a circular mil area of 48,000. This conductor features a low nominal DC resistance of 0.22 Ohm/1000ft and supports a maximum recommended current of 145.0 A. Its robust, unjacketed design is ideal for creating ground straps, bonding equipment, and providing effective EMI/RFI shielding in various electronic systems.
