DESCRIPTION
The 1505A-VIO-1000 is a low-loss serial digital coaxial cable featuring RG59 construction with a 20 AWG solid bare copper conductor, foam polyethylene core, and dual-layer shielding (Duofoil® 100% coverage plus 95% tinned copper braid). It delivers a characteristic impedance of 75 Ohms with excellent return loss performance across broadcast frequencies (23 dB at 5–1600 MHz, 21 dB at 1600–4500 MHz, and 15 dB at 4500–6000 MHz). The cable supports SMPTE 2081-1 6 Gb/s UHDTV and SMPTE 424M 3 Gb/s HD-SDI 1080p standards, with low insertion loss ranging from 0.3 dB/100ft at 1 MHz to 21.1 dB/100ft at 6000 MHz. With a velocity of propagation of 82% and a nominal delay of 1.24 ns/ft, this CMR-rated cable is ideal for professional broadcast, video production, and high-definition television infrastructure where signal integrity and low attenuation are critical.
