DESCRIPTION

V78E06-500-SMT-TR is a non-isolated DC switching regulator designed to convert input voltages in the range of 8–36 Vdc to a fixed 6.5 V output with 500 mA maximum output current (3.25 W output power). The module features high efficiency up to 92% at full load, low output ripple and noise of 50 mVp-p, and operates reliably across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It includes output short circuit protection, remote on/off control capability, and a no-load input current of only 0.2 mA typical. The SMT package with industry-standard footprint and tape-and-reel packaging makes it suitable for automated assembly in industrial power supply applications, embedded systems, and distributed power architectures where compact, efficient voltage conversion is required.
