DESCRIPTION

01070-881 is an incremental optical encoder from the HS35 series, designed for hollow shaft mounting applications requiring rugged, heavy-duty performance. The encoder features dual bearings and shaft seals providing NEMA 4, 13 and IP65 environmental ratings, with a rugged metal housing and sealed connector or cable gland. It accommodates shafts up to 1" in diameter and offers disc resolutions up to 80,000 counts per turn through interpolation. The unit operates in temperatures from 0°C to 70°C (extended to 105°C available), withstands shock of 50 g's for 11 msec and vibration from 5 to 2000 Hz at 20 g's. Common applications include motor feedback and vector control, printing industries, robotic control, oil service industries, and web process control.
