DESCRIPTION

The 01070-790 is an HS35 incremental optical encoder featuring a hollow shaft design that combines rugged, heavy-duty construction with environmental sealing. It accommodates shafts up to 1 inch in diameter and includes dual bearings and shaft seals rated for NEMA 4, 13, and IP65 environmental protection, with a sealed connector or cable gland termination. The encoder supports multiple disc resolutions ranging from 32 to 5000 counts per revolution, with interpolation available up to 80,000 counts, and offers optional dual output capability for redundant signals or dual resolutions. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C (extended to 105°C available), with environmental ratings including 50 g shock tolerance and vibration resistance from 5 to 2000 Hz at 20 g's. Applications include motor feedback and vector control, printing industries, robotic control, oil service industries, and web process control.
