DESCRIPTION

The LPS368-M is a 48 V, 360 W AC-DC open-frame power supply from Advanced Energy's Artesyn LPS360-M series designed for industrial and medical applications. It features a universal input range of 90–264 Vac or 120–300 Vdc, with maximum output power of 5 A at convection cooling and 7.5 A with 400 LFM forced air cooling. The unit includes integrated 5 V standby output (1 A convection, 2 A forced air), 12 V fan output (0.5 A convection, 1 A forced air), remote sense compensation, power fail signal, and digital I2C interface for monitoring and control. Operating efficiency reaches up to 93% at full load, with comprehensive protection including short-circuit, overvoltage (30–50% above nominal), and overtemperature safeguards. The compact design measures less than 1U in height with a 3" × 5" footprint, making it ideal for light industrial systems and patient contact Type BF medical applications requiring ITE and medical safety approvals.
