DESCRIPTION

The LPS202-M is a medically-approved AC-DC power supply from Artesyn's LPS200-M series, designed for medical and ITE applications requiring high reliability and safety compliance. It features a 5V nominal output with a maximum power rating of 100W under convection cooling or 200W with 30 CFM forced air cooling, along with an isolated 12V auxiliary fan output. The unit operates from 90 to 264 VAC input with a power factor of 0.99 typical, 86% efficiency at full load, and includes active power factor correction with a built-in Class B EMI filter. It provides ±2% output regulation, 50 mV peak-to-peak ripple, and comprehensive protection features including overvoltage, overload, and thermal protection. The compact 3" × 5" × 1.32" form factor and less than 1U height make it suitable for space-constrained medical equipment, laboratory instruments, and industrial control systems requiring medical-grade safety certifications including TUV 62368, UL 62368, and CE marking.
